A HUSBAND'S PRAYER
Genesis 2:23-24 (KJV)
23 - And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called
Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 - Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and
they shall be one flesh.
Father in the Name of Jesus, Lord I thank You for loving me and providing for me and
my wife. Lord Jesus I need You to help me to be a good and loving husband to my wife.
There are times we do not agree but help us to learn how to listen and understand each other.
I do love her and honor her even when we misunderstand each other. Lord Jesus, please bless
my wife to be a good and loving wife and give her the desires of her heart as she delights herself
in You. Bless her with good health and strength, and long life. Continue to watch over her when
I am with her and when I am away. Give her a closer walk with You; a very personal
relationship with You that will bless her and our marriage.
Jesus You know the problems in her life, she does not always tell me so she will not worry
me. But even in the midst of the situation help her to keep her faith in You for I know that You
will bring her out victoriously. Help her to walk with You so that You will be pleased with her
life.
Jesus I want to be one of Your faithful sons to You and a faithful husband to my wife. Help
me to be the man of God that You would have me to be so that You will be pleased with my life.
Lord I forever give Your name the honor, the glory and the praise in Jesus Name, Amen.
