PRAYERS FOR HUSBANDS AND WIVES
Genesis 2:23-24; Song of Solomon 6:10; Ephesians 5:21, 33; 5:21-33 (KJV)
23 - And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called
Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 - Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and
they shall be one flesh.
Song of Solomon 6:10 - I am my beloveds, and his desire is toward me.
Ephesians 5:21 - Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife
see that she reverence her husband.

Father in the Name of Jesus, Lord I thank You for loving me. I thank You for blessing me
with my husband/wife. Help us to be patient with one another as well as understanding.
Although we may not always agree help us to be able to disagree without being disagreeable;
understanding that we are different people with different ideas. We desire to walk together, so
please help us to pray and seek Your face so that we may be able to agree with each other.
Lord, Jesus, please bless my husband/wife with good health and strength. Bless my
husband/wife in the work place, as well as at home and in time of recreation. I ask Lord, that
You bless us in our marriage and to make our marriage strong. Help us to be the married couple
that You will be pleased with, and that we can be a blessing to other couples. We desire that
Your light shine through us so that others couples may see and be encouraged to pray and trust
You to help them keep their marriage together. And Lord let nothing ever separate us from Your
love. And let nothing ever separate us from one another and our love for each other; only let
death separate us. But let the memory of our love continue. In Jesus Name I Pray, Amen.
